Do You Huddle?
As you know, we’ve been teaching dentists and their teams to be more successful for over twenty years. Part of being successful is LOVING what you do and surrounding yourself with GREAT people. Well, at The Madow Group we follow this philosophy and have the BEST TEAM EVER!
A lot goes into making our team the cohesive and enthusiastic team that it is, as you can imagine. But we want to share one secret with you that will change your practice. This is very simple and yet another FREE idea that is so powerful.
Our team has a “huddle” every morning to discuss both the previous and the present day(s). We talk about what our goals are for the day and if they have been met the day before. We discuss how we can better serve our friends and followers!
After we meet, the minutes go out in an email to everyone on the team. We find that if it is written down, we are more likely to reach our goals, no matter how large or small they may be. It also seems that everyone is more driven and focused, knowing what needs to be done and how they are going to accomplish it.
We do this rain or shine, whether people are out on vacation or are traveling for business. Whoever is in the office has this huddle – it’s crucial, and it REALLY works!
