Travel Schedule is Going Nuts!

Last month Rich and I did one of our "How to Love Dentistry, Have Fun and Get Rich" seminars to a fantastic group of dentists and team members in Lisle, IL which is just outside of Chicago. These one day seminars where dentists and their staff members find out all of our "secrets" have been an incredible amount of fun not only for anyone in attendence, but for us as well! Dentists have been calling and emailing to ask if we will be appearing in a city near them soon and our answer is simply... "We just don't know." You see, traveling is a great thing, but when Rich and I do it, we usually like it when it's for pleasure. Very soon Rich and I (along with Sally and Paul the DJ) will be doing our "How to LD, HF and GR (see above) seminar in Dallas and Houston. Dallas will be on Feb 3, 2005 and Houston will be on Feb 4, 2005. By the way, you know anything Rich and I do is crazy and VERY different from the mainstream. And when you go to see a dental seminar I know you don't want to embarass your staff and take them to see the typical boring stuff. So come to Texas!!! Because I have no idea what our tour schedule will be like after that. Maybe we'll show up next in Tokyo... who knows??? Later in February it's off to the Chicago Mid-Winter Dental Meeting. No, we won't be speaking there, but we'll be taking courses and checking out all of the new stuff the exhibitors are showing. If you plan to be there, try to catch up with us on the "floor" of the exhibit hall. If you don't see us on the floor, here's a hint: check The North Face store on Michigan Ave. during the day or "Ra Sushi" any of the nights! Yeah, they have hot sake for $1 and great sushi, so that has turned out to be a place where Rich and I like to hang. So listen... that's enough for now. I hope you have a great week and we will plan to "talk" again VERY SOON!!!

Happy 2005

Well, it's that time of the year where you all have made all kinds of resolutions. I'm sure some of you have decided this is the year you will lose weight and finally start exercising. Others of you vow to rekindle old friendships and finally get rid of the grudges you have been holding for years. Maybe you have determined that this is the year you will start a savings program or to give more to charity. Or to go to church or synagogue on a more regular basis. Stop smoking. Perhaps get rid of your temper. Well, whatever your resolution is, please remember the most important thing and that is...

to keep it!

That's right... did you know that over three quarters of all resolutions that are made on New Year's Day are broken by February 1? Sad but true. The reason? It is very easy for the human mind to come up with things to do but actually carrying them out is a whole different story. That's exactly why the average person is not rich or in great physical shape.

Do you know you do not have to earn a high salary to become a millionaire? I am very serious. There are people that earn very modest salaries that become rich enough to retire as millionaires. How can they do this? One word. Discipline. They save a certain percentage of their salary every paycheck without fail. Not when they "feel like it," but EVERY SINGLE TIME! Simple discipline and persistence can make almost anyone rich. I've seen it quite a bit.

Same goes with weight loss. Eat a healthy diet, decrease portions and exercise and you will lose weight. Forget the ridiculous quick fix diets. They don't work. You will always gain the weight back. But eat sensibly and just decrease your intake a little and you will lose weight. But not just during the month of January. You must make it a lifestyle. Persist. I did not say it was easy. If it were so easy, everyone would look like they just got out of the gym. But if you make up your mind to do something, you can do it. I know you can. Forever.

So at this New Year's time I would like to wish all of my friends and readers out there a very healthy and happy year. Stay tuned to this site here because Rich and I have some ideas we will be sharing with you that could make 2005 the best year of your life. Guaranteed!

Peace.
