Katrina and New Orleans part 9

Since the official announcement was made concerning the TBSE 2005 update was made over the weekend, we have had a tremendous amount of positive feedback. It seems as though everyone is very excited to be back in Las Vegas.

Well, Rich and I are EXTREMELY excited that TBSE 2005 will be back in Vegas. It's just too bad about the circumstances by which we had to make the change.

At this point, offices seem to be coming out of the woodwork to sign up. As I said before, we are receiving record numbers of hits on our website. And not only from the US! People as far away as Hong Kong have emailed us.

As you can see, TBSE 2005 will be the best TBSE yet. Another great thing to consider... the room rates at The Aladdin will be only $129 per night... the lowest yet.

So please do not wait any longer if you are not yet signed up. We expect this to be a big week. Please give us a call at 1-800-258-0060.

And check back here later as I will have much more for you!

Katrina and New Orleans part 8

OK guys and girls... we have finalized everything. I know you're going to be very happy! We are in the process now of placing all of the brand new information on our site. Just please give us a little more time to get everything posted. The official release time of the TBSE update will be this evening (Friday Sep 9) at 8:00 PM Eastern time. So if you check this site www.madow.com, everything will be there for you then. I promise.

I predict at that time it will sound like an earthquake. Don't worry, it will not be an actual earthquake... what you will be hearing is dental offices across the country jumping up and down for joy when they see the TBSE 2005 update!

So please.... join in on the jumping at 8PM Eastern... wherever you may be!!!

Also, one more thing... if you are registered already for TBSE 2005, you will be receiving a very important letter from me and Rich. It's going out today so look out for it and read it as soon as you get it.

And don't forget... please continue to check Dave's Weekly Feed right here for more news. Thanks for everything!

A major announcement is coming...

Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans part 6

Rich says we are expecting a contract in our hands any minute now. Once we have it, if everything looks good, we will make the big announcement! It's possible that there could be some minor changes needed in the contract and if that's the case, it could be just another day until we are signed! I know you all are anxious to hear the big news but please understand that we cannot say anything until everything is finalized! So thanks again for your patience.

Our web site has received a record breaking number of visits over the last week. I thank everyone for their interest. I also promise you that Rich and I will make TBSE 2005 a seminar that you will never forget.

One more thing. We continue to be flooded with emails and calls. Sorry if you have emailed us and we have not gotten back to you yet. We are literally getting hundreds every day and just about every one of you is totally understanding and supportive of what we are going through with TBSE 2005.

One call came in yesterday from a doctor who is upset that TBSE 2005 will not be in New Orleans. He inferred that we are "turning our backs on the city." He said we owe it to them to try to stay in New Orleans. He said we should "wait it out and see what happens."

Well, as much as we would love to do that, there is just no way the city would be even remotely ready for anyone to come back in this November or even next November. But we appreciate the thought and the feedback.

Thanks for your time and I promise to keep you updated as soon as we know something!

Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans part 5

While you are waiting for information about the new location of TBSE (which we should be posting any day now), there is an overlooked group in New Orleans and other Gulf Coast areas that needs our help immediately. It is the pets that had to be left behind because they could not be evacuated with their owners. It saddens me to no end knowing that pets had to be either left roaming the streets or in flooding homes. I heard one story of a child screaming and crying (then ultimately vomiting) because the authorities would not let the family dog on the bus that was evacuating the family. Another news clip showed a dog that was tied to a pole with a can of food next to him and a sign saying "please feed me."

Luckily, by today, most of the local rescue groups have secured authorization to enter the disaster areas to begin rescue operations and assist local agencies with providing emergency shelter to displaced animals. Petfinders will be placing pictures of animals on their website to try to reunite them with their owners.

What can we do? The bottom line is money is needed to purchase much needed supplies and equipment for the rescue and relief efforts and provide assistance to animal welfare groups impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Please, go to www.lmva.org and www.petfinders.org, read what they are doing to help rescue pets and reunite them with their owners, and please make some kind of a donation if you can.

Remember, these innocent animals count on their human friends for survival. We can't forget them!

And check back later for TBSE 2005 info!

Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans part 4

OK, I know you all want an answer, and I promise you that we are close and should have something for you next week, right after the holiday! Please understand that we cannot release any information until all the legal stuff is taken care of. But for those of you that need some type of a hint to stay interested, let's say that if all goes well, TBSE 2005 will be in a special place that many have you have learned to love over the years. Is that good enough?

Also, Rich and I will be dedicating TBSE 2005 to New Orleans. Even though we will not be physically able to be there, New Orleans is in our thoughts and our hearts. More on this later.

One more thing. We received a very interesting email yesterday at the office which Rich shares on his blog "Another Side of Rich Madow." So be sure to check that out as well.

More later so check back!

Hurricane Katrina and New Orleans part 3

We are getting very close to an announcement about the new location for TBSE 2005. There are some details we need to wrap up and since we are approaching the Labor Day weekend, we may not have them finalized until just after the holiday. One thing I will promise you... it will be worth waiting for! Please check back here often. Also, don't forget to keep the people affected by this terrible disaster in your prayers. And if you can, donate money to a relief fund (Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc.). They need our help!
