We have been helping dentists and team members for over 22 years. Because of this we have a lot of interaction with great offices, many of which are in our Madow Powerhouse!
Recently, Dr. Tom Hadley of Nashville, TN shared some of his goals for 2012 with us. We thought they were really unique and wanted to share them with you (with Tom’s permission).
So here they are… please enjoy reading them and hopefully they will be an inspiration to you and your practice! (our comments are bolded)
Hey y’all (remember he’s from Nashville!)
We finished the year on Friday with a four hour team meeting that focused on what we did wrong in 2011 (we know what we did right) and what we are going to change for the better in 2012 with the end goal of 25% growth and a trip to TBSE. Here’s how it’s gonna go down:
We’re going to give a lot more high fives. The elevated hand slap has always been my thing but I’m taking it to a whole new level. I’m also dropping the nice shoes and going with canvas Converse from now on. (we like the Converse look, with the high fives, his office sounds like the NBA)
25% growth in production (boom!!), 50 implants, 25 ortho cases, 12 full mouth veneer cases, 1 whitening per day. We’re also going to get started on adding a pedo practice but that’s a big undertaking so it might not get done until 2013 but we’ll have the ball in motion this year. (gotta give this guy credit, this is good stuff!)
We’re ripping out the front desk and putting in a coffee shop… I’m not kidding. Instead of a receptionist it’s gonna be a barista who checks you in and she’ll make you a coffee drink or a smoothie. (do you think the community will be talking about this?) We’ll also serve my beer. Yes, it will be set up just like a bar with a TV up in the corner. (we are not commenting on the beer!)
We are doing a big Nashville Bridal show on Sunday and it’s gonna take the whole office to pull this off. (he told us that he got tons of prospective patients from this!)
