National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day: November 15th
How is the office refrigerator looking? Time for a good cleaning? After you empty it of all expired foods and give it a good cleaning inside and outside…why not stock it with beverages and healthy snacks for the team to enjoy? It might also be a good time to post a reminder for EVERYONE to remember to ALWAYS clean up after themselves.

Practice Management Tips & Marketing Ideas for November:

Incomplete Treatment & Insurance Maximum Renewals
Do you have any patients with incomplete treatment or ones that are due/past due in hygiene with remaining insurance benefits that are going to run out at the end of this year? Do what you can to help them see the need and value in scheduling an appointment this month before the end of the year rush really shifts into high gear!

Have you followed up with a call(s) to your patients that haven’t responded to your use it or lose it letters/emails? If you didn’t get your letters and emails sent out, I encourage you to take action now. Here is a sample “Use it or Lose” it letter?

Dear Olivia,

2021 will soon be coming to a close, and so will your dental benefits. We are writing to remind you to schedule your cleaning, exam and any other dental procedures as soon as possible in order to fully utilize your 2021 insurance benefits. These benefits, as well as healthcare flexible spending accounts, may expire at the end of December.

Unlike medical insurance, healthcare flexible spending accounts and most dental insurance plans do not roll over to the following year. As such, any unused benefits dollars for 2021 will be lost.

Many patients are taking advantage of their flexible spending accounts to get started on Invisalign – the clear alternative to braces! Let us know if you are interested!

We know how busy families are today, but by coming in for regular dental cleanings and exams you may avoid dental complications that may cause you to exceed future dental benefits. At Friar Park Dental Arts we are committed to prevention of dental disease, and regular exams and cleanings are essential in that effort.

As the end of the year approaches, calendars get busy and things get put off. We urge you to call 1-302-555-3313 today so that we may schedule your appointment as soon as possible. We want you to maximize your benefits AND have the best dental treatment available. Remember, it is always best to catch any problems before they get too large!

We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

With best wishes for continued good health.

Dr. Frankie Crisp and Team

P.S. Don’t forget that most dental insurance plans are “use it or lose it!”

Don’t put it off any longer – please call 1-302-555-3313 today!
