|Hi everyone! Coach Betty here with some tips on getting new patients, to make sure you aren’t caught up in the “June Gloom!”
June is graduation month, so remember to have gift certificates ready for purchase. Electric toothbrushes make great graduation gifts.
Postcard and Social Media Post Idea:
“Summertime is a great time of year and it can also be a busy time of year. We encourage you to remember to take the time to squeeze in your regular dental visit before the summer months fly by. Regular dental visits are so important to your overall health!”
A few questions to consider as the first half of the year comes to a close…
· Of your active patients (seen in the last 18 months) how many have their next appointment scheduled and how many do not?
Dental Marketing Ideas:
June is Oral Health Month
Focus: Preventive Care (cleanings, sealants, and fluoride for adults and children)
Goal: Raise awareness for the importance of preventive dental care, take better care of your current patients, increase production, and bring in new patients.
June is the Great Outdoors Month – Why not do a drawing for a big-ticket item such as a bicycle, BBQ grill, outdoor waterpark tickets, baseball game tickets, etc.? Encourage opportunities for extra entries by referring their friends to the office and for leaving reviews and recommendations on Google and Facebook.
June is National Migraine and Headache Awareness Month and June 2nd – 8th is National Headache Awareness Week.
If it’s not your patient in the chair that suffers from migraines or headaches, it’s someone that they know. This is a great opportunity to share with them information about how you can help bring them or a friend some relief.
Social Media Post Ideas to Improve Engagement:
June is National Smile Month and National Candy Month. Combine the two and advise patients to watch their sweets and improve their smiles!
June 10th – 16th: Men’s Health Week
June is the Great Outdoors Month. Print up a list of local parks, trails, camping sites, public pools/splash pads, kids’ outdoor activity ideas, etc. for your patients to take home and share with friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors. Be sure to include your office contact information. All month-long share this information on your social media pages. Be sure to TAG the local parks and businesses in your posts.
And most of all – have fun!! Here’s a good way to do that…
Recess At Work Day – June 20th:
Get outside for a few minutes with your team for some fresh air. If you can’t all get outside, open the windows and turn up the music. How about a sweet treat to enjoy during “recess”? (ex: ice cream, frozen drink, etc.)
