Every single one of you has a “Dr. Evans” in your immediate area. You know him (or her). He’s the doc that no matter what the economy is doing, is always fully booked and is bragging about how successful he is. The name may not be “Evans” where you are. Perhaps it’s Decker, Holloway, or Goldstein. But whatever the name, it seems as though you are having a very tough time competing with him or her.
Maybe it’s his great location. Maybe he takes every course offered or spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on the latest equipment. Perhaps his staff is more charming than yours. Or he has such a hypnotic personality that all of the patients love him and do whatever he says.
The sad truth is that we will never know why Evans is so damn successful. It just pisses us off to no end knowing that with everything we try, Dr. Evans still has the best and most well known practice in the area.
Well guess what friends? This is all about to end. Because if you are really serious about having the best known “go to” practice in your area, it can now be done easily and predictably. You can eclipse Dr. Evans’ practice!
Want to know more? Fine, no problem. But before reading any further, you must promise that you will have an open mind. One thing we will guarantee you (and you probably already know this) is that if you continue doing things the same way, you will continue to get the same results. And that means Dr. Evans will continue to kick your sorry butt.
The way that you can predictably take your practice to that level you have always dreamed of is by incorporating Social Media into your daily marketing and patient communication. And that means learning how to use Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, YouTube, and a few other sites to stay in constant touch with your patients and people in your area who will be looking for a dentist!
The good news: You do not have to be technically savvy. You just have to want to improve!
Sure, you can stop reading this right now and say the whole thing is silly. Or it will not work. Or it’s a waste of time. Fine! Go ahead. But remember, Dr. Evans will be laughing all the way to the bank while you continue doing the “same old – same old!”
We have been teaching dentists how to incorporate Social Media into their practices for quite some time now. There is nothing difficult about it. You simply have to learn a system and that is exactly what we teach!
Sidebar: Dr. Evans has NO IDEA how to use Social Media the way we teach it! And you will learn very soon!
A short time after completing our Social Media Marketing Summit, Dr. Don Wood from Cypress, California said
“My patient flow has been steadily increasing since we attended your Social Media seminar. Yesterday a patient posted on Facebook how thankful she was for our office’s service. If you expect your practice to grow in 2010 you better learn about social networks and the Madow group is the best!”
Please take a look at this wonderful comment from Drs. Bodak-Gyovai in Media, Pennsylvania:
“We attended your Social Media Marketing Summit four months ago in Baltimore. At that time, we had no presence on the internet, and by “no” I mean zero. We were determined to correct that with hard work. We developed our search engine optimized website, MediaPAdentist.com. Our patients happily gave video and written testimonials. As prospective patients began finding us, the phones rang. We now appoint nearly everyone who calls by applying your dental appointment scheduling techniques. In the past four weeks, our new patient volume has quadrupled and we are #1 on Google for many of our services. Yesterday, we had a last-minute cancellation so we sent out a Tweet and e-mail offering a discount. Less than two minutes later, the appointment was filled! We love helping our patients and seeing them smile again. Our vibrant, exciting practice is joyful work. Thank you for giving us the tools we needed, and don’t stop doing it!”
This stuff REALLY works. We couldn’t have made up such great comments if we tried. We have tons more. One of the things that we absolutely love is teaching! And when we see dentists becoming more successful from our teachings, it is one of the most fulfilling feelings in the world.
So the answer is a 100% positive YES!!! We can help you earn the honor as the most popular “go-to” dentist in your area as we have done with so many other dentists! But you need to follow through. Reading this article and doing nothing will not help you. Dr. Evans will continue to be the best in your area! But if you do decide to take action, you will learn things that will put you so far ahead of Evans that you won’t believe it!
Another great bonus that will come out of Social Media for you is that your team will become ambassadors for your practice. Look what Kyle Lacy, a very famous marketer said in his blog just today:
“It is all connected to growing a brand… to growing your company. If you want your employees to talk about you… if you want every piece of your business to be a marketing vehicle, doesn’t social media make sense as a communication platform? Zappos has perfected the use of Twitter as an employee communication model. Why can’t you? It is time to stop being afraid of the massive force of online communication. It is time to stop putting firewalls up because you’re afraid your employees are not being productive. They are not being productive for a reason. But if they love what they do, maybe it’s time to allow them to communicate that fact. And if they don’t love what they do, you probably have more problems than communication.”
Kyle is right! We have found as an added bonus that the offices that embrace Social Media as we teach it unleash the power of communication on their team members. Just close your eyes for a second and imagine each one of your team members communicating and talking about your office to people in your community. Think that cannot happen? Then please put this article down and go back to your old ways. Just forget it. Put an ad in the Yellow Pages and see what you get! We know what you’ll get!
Listen. We are telling you that you CAN and will surpass Dr. Evans. Social Media is the biggest and best opportunity we have ever seen in our lifetimes. It’s just a matter of wanting to do something that will catapult your practice very quickly. Do you want to finally do something that will work? Want to take the next step? If so, please click HERE to learn more!
If you are not ready to surpass Evans or if you are comfortable where you are, thanks for at least taking the time to read this all the way through.
One final thought.
In the last year, we have seen a huge change in our business simply by using Social Media. We do something every day to communicate with our followers. It is a win-win! It’s easy. It’s fun. And most important, it works! We can help you. We are positive! Thanks for reading!
